A bit too far for me and the XYL – KE5MHL – to make. Maybe after retiring. That could be as soon as next year, or maybe not for about 5 more years; depending on a lot of circumstances. But that would be a nice trip to make. Daddy’s ‘Toy Store!’
This Hamfest and of course Hamvention are on my bucket list to visit someday. And then a trip to Germany is on there as well!
Raised in Ohio, I had only been to Hamvention once as a teen. I did not become a ham until I was about 37 years old. It is so much larger these days! I am definitely going to attend Huntsville next year, but I would prefer to fly and just use Ubers, same for Florida’s Hamcation.
I would love to go to the Huntsville one and the Ohio one too. Not in the budget this year.
