  • Member registration and Login:
    • After your initial registration as a new member, you should log in and review and update your information at least once a year so your EC, DEC, and SEC are aware of any changes in your information.  Even if nothing has changed, selecting the “Update” button updates when your information was last verified to be accurate and up to date.
  • The recommended times to review and update your info are:
    • Before the annual ARES Simulated Emergency Test (SET)
    • Before hurricane season
    • After you have bought or sold radio gear used for ARES
    • Your birth month
    • When you upgrade your license class
  • Public documents:
    • Comm Plans
    • Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs)
  • Use the map to find the name/calls of the DECs and ECs around you:

The above link is where you to register as a new member and periodically update your information.  This information is shared with your county Emergency Coordinator (EC), District Emergency Coordinator (DEC), and our Section Emergency Coordinator (SEC).  This is also where the completion of your Task Book assignments is recorded.
