After years of anticipation, Winlink just announced the official release of MacWinlink, a native macOS Winlink client for Apple computers. It will support the following modems: AX.25 Packets, KISS TNC’s, Telnet and ARDOP.
Additional software will be supported by easy to install plugins or as they call them “helpers” to extend support to Vara FM, Vara HF, Direwolf and RigCTLD.
MacWinlink is currently available as a public beta through Apple TestFlight. Mac users with Apple Silicon Macintosh computers running macOS 15 or later are invited to participate in testing.
