Get ready to fire up the rigs! The 69th annual Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) takes to the airwaves worldwide from October 16–18, 2026. Bringing together millions of youth across 170+ nations, JOTA-JOTI is the world’s largest Scouting event, introducing Scouts to electronics, wireless technology, and global friendship.

Rather than a competitive contest, JOTA is a hands-on, educational event designed to inspire the next generation of radio amateurs. Licensed control operators welcome Scouts into club stations and field setups to experience making live, real-time contacts over HF, VHF/UHF repeaters, and digital networks.
Activity centers around designated calling frequencies—most notably 14.290 MHz (20m) and 7.190 MHz (40m) SSB—with operators calling “CQ Jamboree” before moving to clear frequencies to exchange greetings, badges, and shared adventures.

Stations can also bridge connections digitally via EchoLink node #480809 (JOTA365), DMR Talkgroup 907, and IRLP reflector 9091. Remember to follow youth protection protocols: keep conversations centered on Scouting and first names only, avoiding personal details.
Join the fun, mentor a Scout, or register your station today at jotajoti.info. View full event details on our STX Events Calendar!
